qtextedit handles random html, and others...

I am not sure I understand well. Normally, when you select an entry for
preview, the entry gets selected and the whole paragraph is
highlighted. The highlight moves to the right entry when you switch
tabs inside the preview window. If this does not work for you, I'll need
more details about what recoll and system versions you are using so that I
can try to reproduce it.
There is no such feedback currently when opening documents with an external
application. The only thing I could do is find a way to highlight the last
opened entry, independantly from the preview highlight. Is this what you
would find useful ?

My selected entry gets highlighted in the list when i am previewing it but when i trigger contextual menu i dont know to what item in the list i am to trigger and action, i think should be great to be highlight the active item in left/right mouse button click.
