[real-eyes] road runner status line?

I just found out that the entire KC areas Roadrunner
internet service is down. Of course, I had a sighted
person do a reset of my system this morning, thinking
it was on my end, and of course since I couldnt get to
my email, I had no way of checking a web site to see
what was happening with kc.rr.com. (The web site isnt
much help so far as status and ETA is concerned
anyway). I finally called Roadrunner tech support and
was told that all of the KC area is out. My question:
Is there some sort of recorded status message for
Roadrunner one can dial up by phone so you dont have
to bug a live tech representative for this
information? It would seem advantageous to Roadrunner
to offer this, since the tech support team is probably
getting bombarded with KC Roadrunner subscribers
wondering whats going on. Is there a recorded status
and ETA message for Roadrunner out there somewhere?
