It is not necessary in my opinion to take all XP machines offline. And I
have found several articles including the Windows Secrets newsletter that
back me up. Many antivirus companies are still providing updates, and the
statistic I read was that 95% of the A.T.M.'s online in the United States
are still running XP.

Andrea, are you getting the situation where the subject and sender of the
message are not being announced properly as you arrow down through the list
of messages?

If that's the case, that needs to be fixed under the view tab, where you can
set the message list to be displayed either in one line view or two line
view.
It could also be the case that the XP machine is running a different version
of Live mail than the windows 7 machine.
And by the way, shut down that XP machine and take it off line immediately!
XP, DOA, done, finished, out! Get that machine off line, it's a menace to
the Internet as of April 8!
Hahahaha.

Subject: [real-eyes] appearance or windows live

I have windows live mail on an old xp desktop, plus on a laptop running
windows 7. For some reason, on the laptop running windows 7 the appearance
is not at all like it is on my xp machine or on other windows 7 machines I
have assisted other people with. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it
hoping to get it back to it's default settings and no such luck. I an
totally lost in this copy of windows live mail. Does anyone have any ideas
of how I can restore the settings?
Hugs, AJ
