Save it as a RTF file and it "should" be able to open across platforms.

Subject: [real-eyes] Microsoft Word compatibility with Mac

I was just perusing this month's edition of Access World, and I see that in
order to run Mac for Office, you have to purchase a subscription. Thanks but. .
. no thanks--I hope! Here's my question: Suppose I write up a document in Text
Edit that I want to then share with colleagues who use Microsoft Word. What is
the best way for me to do this? I'm hoping I don't have to obtain Boot Camp &
or a third-party screen reader like Jaws in order to do this.

Thanks.
