the front page with the in box would be of any help...

Hi, from the way that you describe your situation, your Outlook is
starting up with the Outlook Today screen, which has the look and
feel of a web page with links to various folders. If this is correct,
you should still be able to press Control Y and then the right arrow
key to gain access to all of your Outlook folders.
