The Olympus DM4 and 5 are the best. No sighted help is necessary. The menus and all functions can speak. One of them will even play NLS talking books eventually. I need to look up the information again. However, there are great voice recording apps for the IPhone, IPad, and IPod. One that comes to mind is list recorder. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kimberly A. What accessible digital recorders have worked best for you, and do the recorders you recommend come talking right out of the box, or do they need to be set up by a sighted person in order to have voiced menus?
