While I've never used one myself, I've heard good things about the
Frogpad if you decide to investigate one-handed keyboards. It's
chorded(having to press multiple buttons in concert for some
characters), but according to Wikipedia, it's chording is limited to
two keys, so it might be a good option if you have full use of your
good hand.
Granted, most keyboard shortcuts are designed around a qwerty
keyboard, so choosing a one-handed keyboard might make some keyboard
shortcuts harder to execute.
