At any rate what he said was, at higher speeds when you are in a corner and hit the brakes the gyro effect kicks in and tries to stand the bike straight up. He says as you get accustomed to it you can counter this effect by turning opposite from the corner. He says this drops the bike back into the turn. Weird but interesting. He also said without brakes there isn't any real gyro effect. Not sure if this helps but interesting take on gyro effects on two wheeled vehicles.
