I could get a more useful range of adjustment by making a different front part. One thing that does change with changing the steering axis is the angle of the front and rear frame to the ground. As a relaxed the pivot angle the cranks rose higher above the ground. This means that two variables change at the same time.
My thought was that having a joint on each frame would allow pivot angle change without frame height/angle change.
Which has the effect on the handling- change in position of the front mass or change in pivot angle? Probably both!

Greg's projects always give me food for thought. Perhaps the head tube beside the front wheel is a good way to build a lowracer TT type bike like Laurent and the other Jeurgen (Maier) are working on.
