I have that feature with my Python as I used rod end bearings for the pivot.
(Picture on the modifications page of the Python web site.) Unfortunately
they are now adjusted to the extreme to get my angle. The only adjustment
now available is to steepen the angle.
I think that auto tie rod ends would work well. I think they would last a
long time, considering their longevity in the auto.
