[pure-silver] what speed do you rate HP5+ at?

I just finished some tests and found that for me, and where I like
shadow densities, HP5+ should be rated at about 800 and developed 8
minutes in DDX 1:4. This is a whole stop different from Ilford's
speed of 400. Their recommended development time is 9 minutes in
same.
I wonder how other people are shooting this film?
