Perfect. Next time I need something, I just need you to give it to me as a present!

Problem solved.

Maybe their policy has tightened up even more.
But if you look on the website, when placing an order, there are still clearly two different address fields; one for billing, and one for shipping. And I know for certain that you can ship something to someone as a gift; there's even a check-box for excluding the cost info on the paperwork when you send it as a gift. It was just a couple months or so ago that I sent myself some film at my mother's house. As as recently as Christmas I received gifts shipped directly from B&H to me from my sister, who does not have the same last name. Furthermore, the website keeps track of previous "ship to" addresses, making them easy to select.

B&H will definitely not ship to hotels; but I've had no problem having them ship to friends' houses or to a company.

DEAR RALPH,

Unless this happened within the last few weeks, it is not my experience. In May I had items shipped to my brother near St. Louis MO.

What I always do when ordering ahead is call my credit card company and give them the address of where I will be staying as an “approved shipping address”. Then I tell Calumet, B&H, Photogs Formulary, B&S, etc., etc., that it is an approved address listed with my credit card co. They check it and ship my goods.

                        CHEERS!

Also, Calumet does not ship credit card orders to places other than the billing address of the credit card.
