My understanding is that the hardener in fixing baths affects the swelling of the emulsion while it is wet and has little or no effect on it when its dry. Has anyone run controlled tests to find out if the acid in stop bath or acid fixing baths really affects the stain from pyro? I rather think this is anecdotal. --- Richard Knoppow Los Angeles, CA, USA dickburk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
