Dear Nephew Rob,
I find undressing in a shop is a good way to speed up the staff. You
pique their interest when you strip off your sweatshirt and throw it up into
the overhead fan. Then you rivet their attention when you do the same to
your shirt. The trousers gone generally gets you the manager's assistance
and solicitation and by the time you have chased the cashier round the file
cabinet with your underwear round your forehead - or her forehead if
business is slow - you can be sure that your future business will be
attended to promptly.
It is all about good manners in the workplace.
