DEAR TOM,Kodak publication J-1 Photo Chemicals does show it on Page 41. In an e-mail conversation a few days ago with Doug Corbin formerly of Kodak he still recommends it. I don't know if anyone has said otherwise. PerhapsRichard Knoppow can shed some light on this. CHEERS! Is there a reference for thisinformation? Tom Kershaw
Thanks, for this. I certainly have the publication but I still have an enormous amount of stuff in storage and, frankly, don't have the physical strength to search through it. I this publication actually says that the stains match the Kodak Hypo Estimator card, which is also used for the residual silver test, better than the sulfide stains. However, see my previous answer about why Kodak may no longer recommend this test.
