DEAR TOM,
Kodak publication J-1 Photo Chemicals does show it on Page 41. In
an e-mail conversation a few days ago with Doug Corbin formerly of Kodak he
still recommends it. I don't know if anyone has said otherwise. Perhaps
Richard Knoppow can shed some light on this.

Subject: [pure-silver] Kodak reference for using selenium toner as an
alternative to ST-1 test solution

Going through the pure-silver archives, I came across a reference from
2007 by Richard Knoppow suggesting that at one time Kodak recommended
using KRST diluted 1:9 as an alternative to the ST-1 solution (testing
for residual silver) but no longer do. Is there a reference for this
information?
