Re: No luck creating MP3 CDs to play on PTR1

All,

Thanks again for helping me create an MP3 CD to play in my PTR1. I feel
like a stupid goose right now. I fixated on the problem being the CD
creation process, when it looks like the trouble has been the MP3 files
themselves. Although they play in my computers, and on my Creative MP3
player, the PTR1 is not compatible with them. The PTR1 sees all 40 files on
the CD, but it refuses to play all but 3 of them. I made a CD with 40 other
MP3 files and the PTR1 played it fine.

The incompatible files are the podcasts of Security Now. For anyone
interested in internet security, this is a terrific program by Steve Gibson
and Leo Laporte. The URL is below.

Hi,

I have been warned against using the drag and drop approach. I use Nero for
creation of the CD-ROMS. I think EZZ CD Creater is also available.

Best
George
