Hi Rein!

We are working towards setting up a server on 80 meters here near Eindhoven
(PA0SON),
possibly also scanning 40 and 10 meters. That will definitely increase coverage.

Good news!

Maybe you can try some other bands with Per?

Yes, but I've seen sm0rwo is down today.

With regard to setting up a server, is there a possibility to set one up at a
club station?

There are only few persons which are willing to do experiments in this dimension. As the sysop of one of our main packet node systems here in Innsbruck, I recognize the user only want be served with perfect working digis/repeaters. Our clubstation can be setup in in 1 or 2 years again, because of reconstruction of the building in which we are hosted (regional government).

At this time we only can do this at a individual location of one of our members with a suitable enviroment. But who wants to blockade his own hf-working possibilities?

I hear our head of the club chapter Tyrol saying: '... who pays the bill for the licence (automatic station)? ... who pays the bill for the electricity? ... who is responseable for the station? ...' Believe me, I know him very well for many years, I need every year a lot of money to keep our digipeaters up-to-date and running perfect for the user!!

But, perhaps I can find somebody to setup a server for some defined hours per day for testing.
