[pskmail] Re: Another frustrating experience

Hello Jan,

It seems from what you describe that the link has some difficulties, as
normally the server will move to a pair of modes that are the fastest to
provide a robust link.

I would try the following:

1. Check with a Ping that the target server(s) hears you.

2. Check how well it receives you using the Inquire command. A returned
number under 60 to 70 indicates a rather marginal link with this server /
mode combination.

These two commands above are done without connection as they are
unconnected commands.

3. Once connected, and assuming you have alreasdy uploaded you email
details with the update server command, you can request mail headers (QTC
command) or other commands after the "Auth:OK" reply from the server.
