I would replay this on a somehow diferent basis. If one can't update its system may be because they have no money or because the machine is a little old ... or perhaps due to any other thing I have no knowledge or I have no way of controlling anyways ... unless the "one" sited is me, which isn't the case. I would say the following: I recall reading somewhere that symbian apps can be compiled using gcc, which would run without problems under windows ME. Please see if you can get this reference. However, compiling isn't the only part of programming utilities, you're likely to have to use an emulator to try running the app or perhaps to be able to debug it. May be that these emulators need some more advansed resources to run than win me can provide. I recomend you join a symbian developement phorum where you can expose your situation and listen to what experts have to say to you about this. If, however, the symbian site says that a requirement is windows 2k or latter I fear you won't have other options but installing one of the systems required. hth Marlon 2007/11/16, Chris Hallsworth <christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>: > Hmm, I don't understand?
