Rotation is enabled in your video/graphics card settings, and Hotkeys are
enabled as well.
So you probably pressed CTRL + ALT + RightArrow, at one point.
If the screen is only rotated to the right by 90degrees, then just press CTRL +
ALT + UpArrow.

The CTRl + ALT + ArrowKey hotkeys are the culprits.
Unfortunately you can get pretty flipped around by rotating 90degrees, then
rotating 270 from that view. No that does not equal back to 360 degrees, it is
like looking at the image from inside the monitor looking out. Pretty funky.

Anyway, I find my settings in the following location. (You can adjust where
necessary.)
1. Control Panel
2. Intel(R) GMA Driver
Monitor Tab
Enable Rotation checkbox is checked... might want to uncheck this one after you
set things right.

Hotkeys Tab
Enable Hotkeys checkbox... probably want to uncheck this once you have
everything looking correct.

And yes I have fun with my coworkers from time to time. (smile)

hello laura,
Try playing with the video controler, there is one in control panel called
NVIDIA, I remember having to do that, when that happened to my school
laptop.
