Thanks all for the pointers. I found the graphics options and disabled
hotkeys and also put the screen back on normal orientation. (I can't believe
it had 90 degrees checked...)
Anyway, you learn something new every day.
Now if I can only get my checking program to work. When I reoriented the
screen, jaws stopped reading the text in my checkbook app.
I'll go off to the MomeyTalks list to ask about that one -- unless someone
here has an idea.
