Thanks for this. I'll need to do a google search about a secure parameter
for cookies, but I still don't understand about the https:// protocol. How
do I set it up where certain pages use this protocol? Where can I read up on
this?

You should do it just like when using http protocol.
When defining a cookie, you may want to use the secure parameter for
specifying that the cookie can be sent only when using https.
