The context was that I was not running edsharp at the time, so F1 would not
have called up edsharp docs. I was running Word. It seems to be working
properly today however. My system sometimes gets into strange states that I
haven't been able to diagnose. This one involved edsharp.
Thanks.

Thanks for asking. No, EdSharp has no ad ware. If the documentation
came up in a web browser, perhaps you hit the F1 key.
