Yes, F1 in EdSharp brings up the docs in your default browser.

Hi,
Is EdSharp configured to open the default browser, whatever that may be, when
you get help?

Hi Jackie,
There have been no architectural changes in EdSharp in the last couple
years, so I suspect the problem is related to either the .NET Framework or
JAWS. Of course, if anyone can isolate steps that reproduce such a
problem, I will try to fix it. At this point, however, nothing comes to
mind about how such behavior might occur. EdSharp does not monitor other
application windows, for example.

Jamal, there is some kinda weird interaction between EdSharp& Firefox--I
dunno what browser Laura is using, but, periodically, EdSharp will read
"download complete", or "launch open folder" like it's reading a Firefox
status window. Closing ff doesn't usually help.
Sometimes I gotta unload jaws or close EdSharp. I've particularly noticed
in this last version that there are just times when cursoring in the
document fails to work& exiting is the only cure for that. So I can't
confirm what Laura says as I've never had EdSharp's help come up but I can
confirm some weird interaction between EdSharp& other programs.

The context was that I was not running edsharp at the time, so F1
would not have called up edsharp docs. I was running Word. It seems
to be working properly today however. My system sometimes gets into
strange states that I haven't been able to diagnose. This one involved
edsharp.
Thanks.

Thanks for asking. No, EdSharp has no ad ware. If the documentation
came up in a web browser, perhaps you hit the F1 key.

I know this is probably not the case but I'll ask anyway to see if I
can diagnose the problem.
Is there any adware in edsharp? I ask because I have been using it
lately, but not today -- however just now I was editing a word
document and was whisked off to a web page about edsharp. I closed
that window, but I honestly don't know where it came from. I was
typing a sentence into a document.
If it happens again I''ll take note of what is on the page. It could
have been part of the edsharp help file. I doubt that though, as I
just rebooted and went straight to my Word file.
My system is trashed in more ways than one, but it surprises me to
get a popup window of something like edsharp.
TIA
