Hi, lost the mail after this one but am stuck with the install.
I'm using the command line after extracting the .exe to a setup folder.
The current error is on the product key, using /PID="SQLExpress"?

Kind regards

Subject: Sql Server Express Download, Install and Registration

Hi:there are at least 3 folks who sound like they are trying to get Sql Server
Express up and running. Perhaps I can help but where are you along the process?
Have any of you already downloaded and installed the product and how long ago?
If you have not installed it yet there are a couple of ways. The standard way,
download, install and register.
I saw something on the Download page for Sql Server Express 2008 R2 that said
Register Before Installing which might be more screen reader friendly. Also,
are you aware of the multi-window installation process and the various
parameters you will need to fillout? The Sql Server Installation Center is
confusing and, at least with Windoweyes, really a pain to navigate.
