Jim, start the registration from the help menu, in the registration screen
find the word register and route jaws to pc, then left click it, that should
start the actual registration process.

take care,

  Hi Rick,

When I went out to the link you sent me and got Visual C#, there was an
option to get one that came with SQL Server Express. Now I just have to find
out how to register the thing. It installed fine as far as I can tell.

Subject: Sql Server Express Download, Install and Registration

Hi:there are at least 3 folks who sound like they are trying to get Sql
Server Express up and running. Perhaps I can help but where are you along the
process?

Have any of you already downloaded and installed the product and how long ago?

If you have not installed it yet there are a couple of ways. The standard
way, download, install and register.

I saw something on the Download page for Sql Server Express 2008 R2 that said
Register Before Installing which might be more screen reader friendly. Also,
are you aware of the multi-window installation process and the various
parameters you will need to fillout? The Sql Server Installation Center is
confusing and, at least with Windoweyes, really a pain to navigate.
