Re: Help with assignment

then there's the, or a trouble.
the app is looking for it "here" and its "there" so its confused, you'll have to check for a brows button or move an executable to where it wishes to find it to continue on at a minimum.

these things can be great, but there still way to literal, if it ain't where it thinks it is, its broke until you fix it, smile

I browsed to the release folder and nothing was in there. I didn't check the spelling in the debug folder.

did you go to the folder and check for yourself that the exe is exactly where they want it?

that's the only thing I can think of, that or manually browse to it, oh, and check your spelling against the spelling used in the path, one different letter could cause something like this as well.

Subject: Help with assignment

Hello all,
For one of my assignments I'm creating a program in Visual C# 2008 Express Edition. It's to do with a docking port system. The problem is when I try to
run the program I receive the followign error message:
"Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition
Visual Studio cannot start debugging because the debug target graphic 775
'D:\Downloads\Documents\Docking Port\Docking Port\Docking
Port\bin\Release\Docking Port.exe' is missing. Please build the
project and retry, or set the OutputPath and AssemblyName
properties appropriately to point at the correct location for the
target assembly.
OK"
Please advise soon as I don't understand why it's missing. I tried to run with and without the debugger. I tried to build the solution several times,
which is successful but still complains of this missing file.
I'm using Windows 7 RC but I was told that there are no compatibility issues
with this IDE.
Thanks in advance for the help.
