then why does your site have a source code page and a statement of it being "open source"

Yes, we have stopped qwitter development for now. I don't think the source code is available. If so, I will only modify it for my own use. Christopher Toth, the main developer, has asked me not to distribute binaries of qwitter. I respect his decision. As one of the head coders myself, I will be happy to answer any questions about the program's source code.Haden On 9/11/2009 7:12 PM, qubit wrote:Well, maybe you or jamal or whoever could incorporate some of qwitter's better features into mctwit. Just a thought. It would be a nice little project for someone learning programming, or a relatively small amount of time for Jamal who knows the code inside and out. --le ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brent Harding"<bharding@xxxxxxxxxx> To:<programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, September 11, 2009 3:28 PM Subject: Re: Development of Qwitter SuspendedI guess that leaves only McTwit, which is OK to do the cleanup of the directmessages and the like, but I really liked Qwitter. ----- Original Message ----- From: "qubit"<lauraeaves@xxxxxxxxx> To: "bprogramming"<programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, September 11, 2009 2:23 PM Subject: Fw: Development of Qwitter SuspendedThis came on gui-talk. Perhaps someone would be interested in looking atit. I don't know what platform it runs on or what language it is coded in. What I downloaded was a tar file. Anyway, that' one less competitor in the accessible twitter market. --le ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Pattison"<srp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Access L"<access-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx>; "VIP L"<vip-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, September 11, 2009 5:03 AM Subject: [gui-talk] Development of Qwitter Suspended Development of the accessible Qwitter client for Twitter has been suspended indefinitely. You can still download Qwitter from www.qwitter-client.net. The source code is also available so there is still the potential for someone with the appropriate programming skills to continue development of Qwitter.
