That's just it, I didn't know how to do that. The interface simply "started working better" the next day, I don't understand why. I got it working by dragging the C right vertical line across that empty unallocated space and stopping at D. But the main reason why it wouldn't do anything I asked of it yesterday was because of the rather hidden "APPLY" button! It's not only tiny text, but it's blue on blue, and down at the extreme left to look like part of the nav menu. Whole process today took less than 5 seconds, pretty amazing program. What I find interesting is the benchmarks on the C: partition are higher now than they were when it was ~48gb, and only 15gb is being used. If you created a new logical partition out of that unallocated space you need to delete that 20 gb partition and move the free space into C by resizing C. If that doesn't work and you can get the space moved into D then do it. Then resize D and move that space to C. If it's unallocated space, it's not a partition of any kind. You need to work on one of your existing partitions and resize one of them to include that space. Like I said earlier, the restore may have screwed things up to the point where you just have to wipe everything and try to restore it again. Ben -----Original Message----- I don't understand how to use it to move that free space to C. I installed it, I see the "Unallocated space" between C and D, but when I right click it "Resize/Move" is grayed out. So I had to, "Create" I think, I forget now, in order for "Resize/Move" to be clickable. I clicked "Resize/Move" and I don't see any way of moving/adding it to C! The only thing there is for resizing. It doesn't appear to be formatted, so when I right click and "Format", nothing happens! Under "Type", C and D are both "Primary" but this other space is listed as "Logical". When I click "Delete", it says a deleted partition cannot be restored (and I thought this program COULD restore them). If I delete it, will that space go to C, or go to D like it did with XP's "Disk Management"? -Clint ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vern" I've used that easeus repartitioning program and it worked well for me. Resized my partitions without losing any information on those partitions. Vern On 10/30/2010 8:32 AM, Clint Hamilton-PCWorks Admin wrote: > I did, that's how I found out about "Partition Recovery".
