Unfortunately Dale, this is one of those many issues with Windows that probably have no explanation. But there are a few things you can possibly try, but first; what exactly is happening when you close IE the previous time? Are you simply shutting it down and nothing odd happens? Or are you getting some kind of error or crash? Does it happen at a wide variety of webpages or is there a commonalty with them, like maybe some kind of embedded media or obvious JavaScript of some kind, etc.? With that info I could then go a bit farther. -Clint God Bless, Clint Hamilton, Owner www.OrpheusComputing.com/Halloween-sales-specials.html www.OrpheusComputing.com www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com www.OrpheusComputing.com/cheap_reliable_web_hosting.html www.OrpheusComputing.com/PCworks-computer-help-email-list.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dale E. Heltzer" Very frequently, when I bring up IE8, I get the message Your previous browsing session closed unexpectedly ... And I'm asked if I want to restart the session or go to my Home page. I'm not doing anything unusual with IE, so what's it complaining about? Why would it close unexpectedly (I ALT-F4 - is that a crime now?) TIA --- Dale E.
