I solved the Belkin problem. I had it plugged into a usb hub. The hub was a 1.1 not a 2.0. I had done this so I could get it closer to the window. Unplugged the Belkin unit from the hub and plugged it into the laptop. 7 saw it installed the drivers for it and it works great. I'm going to need some help in making an image of the hard drive. I tried using the iamge making wizard in alcohol 120, no luck. Can you give me a nudge.
