Hi Christy,
use the keyboard shortcut Windows key & letter E
this will open the Windows "Explorer"
open "Documents" and right click on the folder representing "My Documents"
It may be under Users =
Computer> W7 (I name my hard drives)> Users> Mike (your user name here)
From the right click menu choose Create Shortcut
it will place a shortcut on your desktop
I use the Quick Launch Toolbar on the bottom of my screen
I right click on it and unlock it
Then drag the new shortcut into the Quick Launch bar.
then move it drag it to where you can see it.
Then Lock the Toolbar again so it does not drift/get moved<G>
