I have a few accounts with HotPop. I think they do on occasion send SPAM. 
Well, SPAM, but not really SPAM, as they indicate that you will receive 
offers with the free account. But, its so minimal, like 1 every 2 to 3 
weeks.It would be from TargetMail as the sender.
