I think if you go into Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, 
Browsing and put a check mark in close Favorite Folders (3rd one 
down) that might work -- but then again it might not (smile).

But I would think it is somewhere in that dialog box.

Can someone tell me how to keep that side tool bar with the 
favorites listed
to stop popping up on the left hand side of my computer.  I can 
x out of it
each time but want it so I dont have to x out each time.  I have 
win xp home
version, IE 6 and OE.
