Will do that first thing in the morning. Its late so I shut the other
computer down already (its on the floor below). But I had already set the
file preferences in Winamp :o( The darned classic player keeps butting
in... Talk to you in the morning!

Lil,
Unchecking them within Media Player isn't enough to tell Windows what it
should use instead. Open up WinAmp and use it to take over the file
associations. Once open, go to Options > Preferences and then click on File
Types to get to the correct area of the settings. The changes are set in
the registry the moment you close the Options window.
If it still doesn't work, we can set up a remote connection and I'll see
if I can determine what's getting in the way.
