Troth, I too used K9 till my old laptop bit the dust. The one I'm trying now is SpamPal which uses the old-fashioned "normal methods" but also has the ability (thru a plugin) to use Bayesian filtering techniques. Pretty interesting. You may want to check it out. K9 uses Bayesian filters as well, and I'm happy to report that the SPAM has gotten less and less... to the point of almost zero. While I haven't tried POPFile and SpamBayes, I encourage anyone wanted to do so, and ask that you drop a line here and let me (or us) know your results with it. Although I so far love K9, if there's something better, I'd love to have it. ---Troth To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
