Hi Sandi,

What is the model number of your HP printer, I am looking for one that does
photos well. Although the ink I am sure is expensive for color now. I used
to have an old HP that I printed photos on all the time year's ago.

Are you setting your printer for borderless? I am thinking that the printer
setting might be the key now that you are using Picasa. I have an HP
Photosmart 3 in 1 that does photos really well.
It will not do envelopes though so I use it just for scanning, copying and
photos. I have a second printer, a little inexpensive Epson that does all
of my odd size envelopes as well as regular sizes.
