hey Jo Ann, remove the extensions, that's what is associating your other
files with QT.
QT is notorious for taking over file extensions, just like Real Player is.

I tried your suggestion, but they are still showing as Quick Time files.
Whatever I was using before showed all the pics as open thumbnails and they
were much easier to identify. This is the feature I would like to have back.
