   Look carefully at the Ofc2000 cd and see if it indicates UPGRD..... also, 
I wonder if in the early install screens, there might have been a check box to 
ask if an earlier version is available.   A mystery, but glad for you that it 
is solved.
   I sure would be complaining loudly.
