On the Vista Machine, run the Windows Easy Transfer. That will put the
WET on your thumbdrive to take to the XP machine. Run it and write the
results to the thumb drive. Return to the Vista machine with the
results and run it again. I am fixing to do this in a roundabout way
myself. I'm getting Outlook 2007 setup on my XP partition. I'll use
WET to configure my Vista partition. Then I'll use a combination of WET
and the XP Files and Settings Transfer Wizard to to get it configured on
the Dell XP and the Laptop Vista.

I think, but I'm not sure, that you can pick and chose what to transfer
in WET. So you can limit it to strictly email accounts, settings,
filters, contacts etc and skip the rest.

Also, I think Outlook 2000 will export everything into some sort of file
that 2007 can import from. Read the help files on Import/Export.
