Hi Chris, I appreciate your response. How do I know if pictures are
compressed or uncompressed? For example, I have one that shows (in
Irfanview) as width 317, height 353 (pixels). This is in the "resize"
screen. On the right-hand half it shows "some standard dimensions" where I
can go up to 800 x 600 before it gets all pixelly (at 1024). So is that how
I can determine my best size, just by trying how big they can go before they
get too pixelly? ~Glo

To get you started on your quest!

I don't think the size of the pictures (kb) matters at all in relation to
the projector, but if you have uncompressed pictures they will be better
quality than compressed ones - so use the biggest ones you have.
What will matter is the size (pixels) of the picture.
A standard projector will be 4:3 (height 3/4 of width)
So try to crop all your pictures to match - 800x600 or 1024x768.
