Lil,
    There wouldn't be any registry entries tying the old folders to the new 
OS, but the folders may be there from a previous OS install.  If there's 
nothing else on the drive but those unknown folders, go into Explorer, right 
click on the H drive and select Format (be absolutely sure that H is the 
right drive letter, of course).  You'll end up with a completely empty 
volume and Windows will not take long before adding those folders back 
again.  However, since they will only be associated with the one OS install, 
the Recycle Bin will actually show as a real RB and the other one WILL have 
direct ties to the new OS's System Restore.  In other words, all will be 
right in the world.         :)
