I think they are all DVD Video when the files are converted, so they should
be compatible with any player.  But, of course I am no expert.  I have a
3-year old DVD recorder and I haven't had any problems playing burned discs
in it.

Thanks!  Looks like a good program.  My problem now is that I am not sure 
what format my mom's old DVD player will play.  I suspect you need to know 
that before using this program right?

On the manual I found online it says this dvd+VCR  4400 player Go video
