it's a floppy drive - that hooks on to your usb port. 
it reads floppy disks. Most computer's don't come with floppy drives anymore. 
Especially laptops. 'They' claim floppy's are on the way out, but for now, I 
need them because that is what my sewing machine reads to do embroidery. 
For storage - you're great with the thumb drive! and boy have they come down in 
price! I got a 1 gig for not much, after rebates, a few weeks ago!

Whats the advantage of having one of these as opposed to a thumbdrive?  I
