IF you understand where they go...I never do. I once rounded up probably
50 files in search and then dumpted em in a separate folder. NO idea where
they went, I couldn't restore when things got twisted. That's why I don't
mess with leaving them on their own.

well - you can always make a note in notepad and save it to the same folder
as the files are saved. I label my folder something with the file name. I'm
afraid I would empty my recycle bin. I clean my computer often.

The problem I had with not using trash is that once files are removed from
somewhere unless you know where they need to be returned TO it's not a good
idea to put them somewhere else. In TRASH they can be restored by rote..I
tried NOT using trash and dumpted a bunch of files once and then found I was
in all sorts of trouble and couln't restore any of them and had to
reformat..NOT fun.

those particular ones have to do with your windows updates.
Look in add/remove and see if those particular update numbers (number KB...)
are listed in add/remove programs)

You can always move things to another folder temporarily until you are sure
you need them or not.

When looking around in my directories in winit folder I found some folders
with strange names, I don't recall seeing them before... names of a few of
them are... $NtServicePackUninstall$,$NtUninstallKB820291$,
$NtUninstallKB826939$ etc, what are these? AND is it safe to delete them??

Thanks
