Hi, good folks-- In addition to being fed up in general with Windows 7 Live Mail, many times during each day I am temporarily--and ANNOYINGLY--disallowed immediate access to sending/receiving e-mail by Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92. A Google on this error reveals plenty of sources for supposedly fixing this situation (presumably a registry-related problem, but I don't understand why the problem seems to magically "fix itself" after about 20 minutes of frustratingly trying to send/receive e-mail). The problem is, I don't know if any of the ways out there are actually trustworthy! E.g., there are some Websites that offer programs to fix the problem, but I just don't know whether to trust them. Has anyone else successfully dealt with this problem, please? I am a bit timid about going into the registry on my own. Also, does anyone know of a very high-profile site where one may complain about this generally brain-dead, crappy e-mail program Microsoft now bundles with Windows (I guess anything to force us to pay extra bucks for a reasonably intelligently designed program. . .grrr. . .)--a Website that might actually get some media and corporate attention, please? If so, would appreciate knowing about it, please. There seem to be plenty of Websites out there when one Googles "Windows 7 Live Mail SUCKS!," but I just don't know how effective any of those sites are. Anyway, I am beginning to big-time detest Microsoft's software design and marketing decisions, and I would sure like to find a good way to sound off about it very loudly. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. . . Many thanks in advance! And, sorry about the growling -sigh- Jo-ski --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
