Xp wouldn't be the problem.
What email program are you using?
I'm using outlook express and it treats the url's as hot links in my email.
I'm not sure if this will help, but try this.
Click on tools, then options, then read.
Make sure 'read all messages in plain text' is not checked. <Like I said,
I'm not sure if that will fix it.>
