[Your message] BTW, did you try it, or is that just what the manual says? If the manual was written before +R/+RW came out, they may work, but the author wouldn't have known it at the time. Scott, you hit it, the manual told me this. I don't really have access to a DVD that is in the "+", so there is a speed bonus out there when I try a "+RW" on the "other room" DVD player. It seems that the disc blanks one purchases takes some deliberation because it seems what you can do is based much on the disc. I pursed the Sunday paper ads looking for types of discs. I saw most of the + and - with R and RW excepting I did not see DVD-RW featured, but I'm sure I'll find it when I get to a supply store. Thanks, P.S.
