Oh, Vickie, I mentioned to Tony in response to his e-mail about an Irish joke
that I was praying for him and for Karen, but I had a sinking feeling things
weren’t going well for her. I’ll certainly continue to pray.

I received a phone call from my brother Tony earlier. Tony’s girl friend has,
for the past couple of weeks
had dizzy spells. Today, she prepared a roast dinner in the slow cooker. Tony
said
she almost fell, and if the wall wouldn’t have been there to catch her, she
would
have. They agreed at that point that she should go to the hospital. So, he
cleared
the walkway from the snow, and called Dave, his step son to drive Karen. They
did
a CT scan and found two cancerous tumors. One is on her left frontal lobe, and
the
second one is in her right temporal lobe. So, Tony talked them into keeping her
for the night. The oncologist she had before will be there in morning, to
discuss
her options. Now, she has said in the past and today, that she will not do
chemo.
They told her there she wouldn’t do chemo, and that either surgery or radiation
would
be her options. So, we’ll know more tomorrow. Please pray and send positive
thoughts
to Tony and Karen and add her back on any prayer lists you know of.
